This position supports the DCS mission by ensuring the $680 million in annual child support collections are accurately processed and distributed to families within timeframes mandated by federal and state laws. Failure to do so creates hardships for the 275,000 families we serve. This position also ensures the collections and disbursements are accurately reported at both the state and federal levels. Reporting errors can result in agency fines in the millions of dollars.
