The Opportunity:

As a database developer, you can solve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, Agile environment. We’re looking for a developer with the advanced skills needed to build transformative applications from vision to production-ready system. This role is more than just coding. We need a database developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates.
This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
Required skills:
- 8+ years experience in an information technology role
- 3+ years designing, developing, and releasing Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures
- 3+ years unit testing of application and stored procedure code
- 3+ years' experience using Java and Java frameworks (Spring)
- 3+ years developing, modifying, and maintaining client/server application
- Develop/implement regression testing scripts
- Documenting and testing release management documentation
- Support technical writing activities
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies or the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or technical equivalent
Nice to Have:
- Release Management experience Support technical writing activities
- Update 4+1 and other architecture documents
- Experience supporting the US Department of Veterans Affairs
