Actxa is hiring for Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in shaping the future of healthcare in preventive health using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and data analysis..

The ideal candidate will directly contribute to improving the health and well-being of the population, reducing healthcare costs, and championing a proactive approach to healthcare.

What will you do?

1. Data Collection, Processing and Preprocessing:

  • Collect, clean, preprocess, and wrangle raw digital health data to ensure its quality, integrity, and suitability for analysis and modeling.

2. Data Analysis and Modeling:

  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques, artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to analyze complex datasets.
  • Develop predictive models to identify patterns, trends, and insights for proactive health interventions.

3. Feature Engineering and Model Development:

  • Identify and engineer relevant features from diverse healthcare data sources to enhance model accuracy and performance.
  • Design, develop, and fine-tune machine learning models for predicting health risks and outcomes.

4. Productization and Code Transfer:

  • Follow through toward productization by deploying models into scalable, production-ready solutions.
  • Implement data pipelines and automation processes for efficient data processing and extraction.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Document research, experiments, modelling techniques, and methodologies followed in projects.
  • Provide comprehensive reports and presentations on results, findings, and recommendations derived from data analysis and predictive models.

6. Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians, data engineers, and product managers to understand business requirements and align data science initiatives with company goals.
  • Effectively communicate complex findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

7. Continuous Improvement and Innovation:

  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and healthcare technologies.


Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Data Science, Biostatistic, Mathematics, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in data science, healthcare analytics, or preventive medicine
  • Proficiency in programming languages: Python, R, SQL
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
  • Good understanding of biostatistics, epidemiology, and research design
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms: AWS & Ali Cloud
  • Experience with wearable device data, signal and noise processing will be preferred.
  • Keen interest in Chronic disease prevention, Population health management and Digital health interventions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Natural tenacity, resilience, and determination.
