Title: Cybersecurity Analyst
Location: Tempe, AZ
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you’ll be tasked with orchestrating, implementing, and overseeing network and application protection for a cloud-based solution hosted on AWS.
Your role:
- Orchestrate and oversee network and application protection
- Utilize various industry-leading tools to identify potential weak points and ongoing threats
- Orchestrate, research, design, and manage protection and compliance requirements for server/network device setups, enhancements, and upkeep
- Craft comprehensive incident reports, including analysis of response activities, insights gained, and suggestions for enhancement
- Keep abreast of emerging digital threats, attack methodologies, and industry best practices, offering proactive recommendations to bolster defense posture
What you’ve got:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Defense, or related field
- Preference for one or more credentials such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security, AWS Security
- Three or more years of experience with: Application Security; Network Security; AWS services including at a minimum: Cloud Watch, IAM, security groups, Firewalls, Web Application Firewall; SIEM platforms Logz.io, SumoLogic; Linux OS; Windows Server OS; Application vulnerability scanning and remediation tools; Network vulnerability scanning and remediation tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of how weak points are exploited, threat vectors, attack surface, and risk mitigation strategies
