Minnesota Grinding is seeking candidates for 1st or 3rd Shift CNC Precision Grinding Technician Trainee role: Setup and operate manual and CNC precision grinding machines and robotics to process parts per customer specifications.  Environment encourages technical growth--pay increases as employees show greater knowledge of CNC precision grinding.

The CNC Precision Grinding Technician Trainee role can be filled by an individual interested in the CNC career field. Some related education and experience preferred, but not required:
 
  • machines and machine tools
  • blueprint reading
  • calipers, micrometers and other precision measuring equipment
  • CNC
  • grinding
  • robotics

Computer literacy, proficiency in Windows environment.  Strong communication skills and team player abilities are key to a successful working environment.

SCHEDULE: Minnesota Grinding is seeking candidates for 1st or 3rd shift.

  • 1st shift: 6:00 am-2:30 pm Monday-Friday
  • 3rd shift: 10:00 pm-6:30am Sunday-Thursday

LOCATION: Minnesota Grinding is located at 5400 Douglas Drive, Crystal, MN  55429

Metro Transit bus stops within 1-2 blocks with routes 716 and 721.

Work environment is temperature controlled.  Local and privately owned company with strong employee benefits including vacation, sick and holiday pay; profit sharing; 401(k); medical, dental, vision, short-term, long-term, and life insurance.

Hiring pay range: $22+ depending on experience, plus shift differential
