Statement of the Job:

This position is responsible for designing, developing and/or managing Microsoft Azure cloud solutions in both IaaS and PaaS, secure web-based database systems, and desktop and web/cloud applications; generating database reports in different formats using reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI; extracting data from third-party data systems and integrating the extracted data with existing data systems; development in Microsoft SQL Server; designing and implementing backup and disaster-recovery protocols; providing technical support to internal and external users, including server maintenance and backup; creating documentation (e.g., user manuals, system design specifications); and other related duties as assigned. Typical hiring range for this soft-money funded position is $70,000 to $80,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Qualifications:
Required:



  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study.

  • Five to less than 7 years of experience in Information Technology or a related field with documented experience in designing, developing, and managing Microsoft Azure cloud solutions in both IaaS and PaaS, and Microsoft SQL Server database systems.

  • Experience working with Microsoft Power BI.

  • Experience developing applications to integrate and transform the data using Microsoft SSIS.

  • Experience building data warehouses using Microsoft SQL Serve database systems.

  • Experience designing and developing applications using ASP, .NET, C# for database systems.


Preferred:



  • Master’s degree.
