Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. 

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile and desktop friendly web applications using technology such as HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as Angular or React, integrating with existing UI components and interfacing with various REST API endpoints.


• Develop new UI components.


• Deploy applications using CI/CD pipeline.


• Collaborate with other application developers and product managers.


• Ensure on-time delivery.


• Ensure application complies to Bank’s engineering standards.


• Write high quality, clean, maintainable code conforming to engineering best practices (unit testing, source control, continuous integration, automation, design patterns, etc.).

Requirements

• Hands-on experience of web technology, HTML, CSS, JavaScript as well as frameworks such as Angular or React).


• Solid understanding of REST API.


• Familiarity with CI/CD practices.


• Understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and development best practices.


• Knowledge of authorization protocol such as OAuth.


• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MariaDB, MS SQL, MongoDB).


• Excellent working attitude, problem-solving, critical thinking and communication skills.


• Bonus - Familiarity with Agile methodology (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).


• Bonus - Experience with Agile tools, JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins & Bitbucket.
