Working with a team you will mount and install mechanical components, electrical, hydraulic, and structural parts on products using various types of equipment and hand tools. 

This position is fully in person and is located in our manufacturing facility in Iroquois, Ontario.

What the job is all about:

  • Perform assembly tasks and do adjustments on small to large complex products using written work instructions, engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Assembly includes but is not limited to, fastening of bolts and screws, installing, and aligning of gears to ensure proper messing, installation of motors, belts, bearings, metal fabs, machined parts that require precision fitting as well as other sub-components as close tolerance on parts is critical to assembly performance.
  • Assemblers will use epoxy, adhesives, grease, oils, lubricants, and various thread lockers to complete builds and will use precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, faro arm, fixtures and gauges to check work.
  • Installation of connectorized wires and complete wire harnesses
  • Experience using a wide variety of hand and power tools, hydraulic and manual drill presses, bench grinders and torque wrenches is required.
  • Perform other related duties as required
  • Rotational shift work

 

Who you are: 

  • Experience using a wide variety of hand and power tools, hydraulic and manual drill presses, bench grinders and torque wrenches is required.
  • Mechanical aptitude with an eye for detail and quality.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Capable of following procedures and working logically with a strong aptitude for learning
  • Good organizational skills, energetic, enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience in mechanical assembly
  • Strong computer skills

 

Bonus points if you have the following: 

  • Electronics Manufacturing experience
  • A technical background
  • Mechanical and Electrical assembly
