UMB Bank NA, seeks a .Net Developer/Application Developer II for Kansas City, MO, with option to telecommute, anywhere within US.  

Responsibilities:

The .Net Developer/Application Developer II will be involved in developing web applications and enterprise services for UMB's products within the banking and healthcare space. This will include working with the technical teams and users to solve any potential issues. Work closely with our Enterprise, Solutions, and Application Architects to design systems that meet challenges of our Consumer, Commercial, and Healthcare partners. Work with minimal assistance to troubleshoot, maintain, configure, analyze, test, scope, estimate and design technical and non-technical solutions required to satisfy clients' needs. Perform development tasks involving extraction and transfer of data performing all associated transformations, validations, cleansing, and preparation of data for load into the applicable system(s). Work on elements of large, complex installations. Develop and implement process improvements. Function as a resource and advocate for the business partners. Field incoming problem tickets to identify and resolve applications and software issues. Work closely with user and management to maintain and continually improve the operations, maintenance, and documentation of the systems. Perform additional developer duties, as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.

  • Three years’ of experience which must include experience in the following:

  • Developing web applications.

  • Solid principles and domain-driven development.

  • UI Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, Typescript, Bootstrap or Materialize CSS, Oath, Open ID, SAML 2.0, Swagger, testing tools (i.e. SOAP Ul, Postman).

  • Server-side Technologies: C#, MS SQL or Oracle, Entity Framework, ASP.NET Web API.

  • Integrating with other enterprise systems such as a mainframe environment and other vendor service integration using SOAP or REST-based API.

  • Integrating with mainframe and other third-party vendors such as TSYS, FIS while building REST based services.

  • Position also requires demonstrated understanding of the following:

  • Developing applications using one of the public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

  • Authorization and Authentication patterns and experience in implementing in enterprise application.

  • Applying SOLID principles and patterns.

  • Cl/CD pipeline.

  • Integrating with oAuth and SAML as part of the services.
